Apocalypse and family therapy: planetary health and ecopsychology

The author articulates concepts from family therapy, Ecopsychology, planetary health and climate crises with new challenges in family mental health. It associates the term apocalypse with the opportunity to reveal reflections on therapeutic actions in the settings of family therapies, which promote paradigmatic deconstructions, which lead to awareness and recognition of the inevitable interconnections between human beings and their belonging to nature. It invites family therapists to discussions linked to eco-anxieties, eco-guilt, ecological grief, and other biophobic anxieties, present explicitly and implicitly in the protagonists of the family therapy stage.
