Abstract

This article proposes an integration between systemic family therapy, personality traits (Big Five model), and the neurobiology of affection. The objective is to analyze how transgenerational relational patterns influence the construction of self-worth and the experience of sexuality. Based on contemporary literature, the study discusses the transmission of invisible patterns and emotional regulation from the perspective of neuroscience and neuroplasticity. It is concluded that the articulation between these fields expands clinical understanding and requires continuous self-knowledge from the family therapist for ethical and sustainable interventions.
