Abstract

This theme arose from psychotherapeutic consultations, carried out in a Clinic-School, under the approach of Gestalt-therapy, therefore, this study is characterized as an experience report. The reports of four women who had recently separated from their partner were selected. The adult love relationship is considered fundamental for human development, whereas separation it is understood as the unraveling of this union, a process that can be experienced as deeply disturbing.
