Abstract

The present case study discusses the therapeutic situation of a couple whose symptomatology is chemical dependency, currently under control, of the young husband. The couple treated in couple psychotherapy for more than a year is being assisted by the authors of the article in a co-therapy format. A bibliographical study was carried out on chemical dependence, as well as consultation and analysis of the couple's medical records, relating relevant points of these with the process.
